God Bless Johnny Dean

You might have seen Robbie Williams’ recent comments about half the Nuis@nce playlist in the press this morning (see http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/03/20/robbie-williams-suede-brett-anderson-one-direction_n_2916162.html?utm_hp_ref=tw if not), naming 21 mid-90s indie bands as examples that “any quarter-decent three-chord k***heads could and did get a deal in the 90s” His comments are pretty funny, though he has since apologised. We asked our favourite Britpop frontman via our Facebook page what he thought. Johnny, bless him, never lets us down:

“Silly c*nt seemed happy enough snorting my drugs in my bus at T in the Park ’95. In fact he was like a disease for “indie” bands back then. Couldn’t get rid of the f*cker. And you can quote me on that.”

El Oh El!

PS: Menswe@r used to come on stage to Back For Good. Mr Dean LOVES that song.
